Terms of Service

1. Authorized use only

Connect only mailboxes that you own or are explicitly authorized to access. You must not use InboxReader to obtain another person’s messages, credentials, verification codes or other private information without their permission, or to bypass security controls of any service.

2. Reader links and API keys

• A reader URL acts like a password. Anyone with a valid reader URL may be able to view the mailboxes assigned to it.
• You are responsible for who you share reader links and API keys with. Rotate or disable a link immediately if it is exposed, and revoke unused API keys.
• You are responsible for activity performed with your links and keys until you rotate, disable or revoke them.

3. Your account

Keep your password secure and your contact email current. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

4. Acceptable use and limits

• Respect plan limits and rate limits. Do not attempt to scan for reader links, overload the service or mail providers’ APIs, or circumvent limits.
• Comply with applicable laws and with the connected provider’s terms for the accounts you connect.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in abuse, fraud or unauthorized access, and may disable links to protect users.

5. Beta service

InboxReader is offered as a public beta. Features may change, and the service is provided “as is” without guarantees of availability, uptime or message delivery. Mail access depends on Microsoft’s or Google’s services, which may be unavailable or revoke authorization independently of us.

6. Paid plans

If paid plans are offered, prices and limits are shown on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, InboxReader is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for losses resulting from reader links or API keys that you shared or exposed.

8. Email providers

InboxReader is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft, Google or any other email provider it connects to. Gmail and Google Workspace are trademarks of Google. Outlook, Hotmail, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Graph are trademarks of Microsoft. Other product names are trademarks of their owners.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may end the service with reasonable notice where possible.
