How to connect Gmail
Connect Gmail or Google Workspace with read-only Google authorization.
InboxReader reads Inbox and Spam from Gmail and Google Workspace accounts you authorize. Your password is entered only on Google’s own sign-in page.
- Open Dashboard → Mailboxes and choose Connect Gmail.
- Choose your Google account and approve Gmail read access.
- Create a reader link or add the mailbox to an existing link. Choose recent, only new, or all messages.
If Gmail sign-in is not configured, the site administrator must enable the Gmail API and configure a Google OAuth web client. A test deployment may accept only Google test users.
To reconnect, choose Reconnect on the Gmail mailbox and select the same Google account. Disconnecting deletes InboxReader’s stored tokens. You can also remove access in your Google account’s third-party connections.
